HDD NTFS with VO Solo2

Hi, I have an external hdd plugged in usb and formatted in NTFS. I can play videos from VU and from my TV LG Smart TV with wifi network connection. But the problem is that I can't copy files from my PC to this hdd by network (tested with DCC and filezilla). The hdd is mounted to /media/video.

Any idea what's happening? Maybe I haven't write permission to NTFS partitions?

You have to créate a mount point....

The mount point is created to /media/video.

But I think you should mount it to /media/hdd/
I have it that way and it's working (I'm using a NTFS HDD too on a CIFS mounted point)

Yes! I use one of my PC's HDDs
And it's one of the slower ones!

Solved. Is necessary to mount hdd with ntfs-3g.

No, is a direct NTFS mount, not auto mount.

I dont use auto mount too. I use it directly from fstab file

linux needs this module in the kernel..otherwise it won't be able to write on ntfs filesystems...only to read.

On BH images is included the NTFS-3G package who permit NTFS mounts.

Bh images support NTFS disks in read/write with NTFS-3g

you have only to use device manager like all other disks.
