I think is not integrable with Linux boxes but I need some time and google searches to be sure.

This is not an external receiver, but it seems a stand alone receiver (it has a A/V output, if you see) with a serial port for service and "other" use (e.g. communicate with Strong Gold Boxes). Does not have a USB port for PC and Linux boxes communications.

This is one old solution so as to take key from Satellite sharing key providers , and by serial port just keys be sent to receiver and not more
