How to login with Telnet

Hello!

I have two VU+ Duo boxes, with OpenPLi in both.
I have problems logging into the boxes with Telnet in Windows 7.
Is there anyone here who knows what to write?
I have tried typing: telnet 192.168.0.116 (192.168.0.116 is the IP number of one of the boxes)
Then Telnet says the following: Bad command. Write ? or help for more information.


Is it not so I'll write? Do I need any plugin installed in the box to be able to login with Telnet?
Anyone know what's wrong?

As rassi has said, putty is really useful so you should download and use it.

As for telnet, its not enabled by default in Windows 7, but if you want to use it
  1. Start
  2. Control Panel
  3. Programs And Features
  4. Turn Windows features on or off
  5. Check Telnet Client
  6. Hit OK
After that you can start Telnet via Command Prompt.

I found the error. I opened telnet.exe and wrote the command there, not in Windows Command Prompt. :idea:
Now it works. Thanks anyway everybody.
