How to solve VFD problem in VU Solo ?

Dear Sir,

I found some driver so as to solve problem which are as follows:

- mbox-dvb-modules-vusolo-2.6.18-7.3-4.1.1-20110321.tar
- mbox-dvb-modules-vusolo-2.6.18-7.3-4.4.3-20110321.tar

and also I have done following thing:

sending files to /lib/modules

so , what is next task and how to install those drivers
would you inform me about prompt ?

using from "make" is correct ?

maybe i wrong but the vu+ solo has not any vfd devices....

Also I dont know , just there is one panel with one green LED , anyhow , can you help me to install mentioned drivers in VU Solo ?

Untar it and place the files in /lib/modules/<kernel_version>/extra and reboot your box.

Thanks sir , you meen that it doesnt need to be installed and just eanough to put in mentiond folder and after that i reboot system

It's sufficient to decompress it with TAR utility and place the files in the folder I wrote in my previous post: this is the manual installation procedure of new drivers for your box.
Next, reboot your box to apply changes.

BE CAREFUL: make a backup of existing drivers !
