It's quite impossible that you have an original box. I'm sorry but the message you see on your box display mean you have a clone box.
If you have bought it as original, contact your reseller and trade up with a TRUE original box.

I have a original box.. already checked (or a perfect clone, if it exists...) I can post some pictures...
I was runing BH 2.0.8, FPGA upgrade has done on install, but on openpli upgrade, I got this error....

Please remember that actually Openpli or other images different than Black Hole are not supported here!

Ask your question in those images' forums or in this section:

Same problem on Black Hole 2.0.8, or vu Original FW, no one works now... (but work 2 days ago..)

The box is original, my retailer is a online shop called sat25.com from spain, hard to contact...

Procedure is contact your dealer .

As I saw on that page they sell also clone boxes.
If they sell solo2 clone of course I do not know.

Now if your solo2 is clone or a defect
does not change a thing.
Procedure is contact your dealer .

If you have clone we do not provide any support for them
and all posts in this regard will be blocked
and seen as a spam.

sadly there are many retailers selling clones as original receivers for original prices, take a few pictures of the inside of the receiver and we will see if we can identify it as a clone for you, otherwise contact your supplier and demand a genuine receiver.

Exactly the same issue, I removed the HDD, removed the data cable, removed the coax cables, I get HW error two seconds after the boot up...

Just to give you a bit of histroy......
One of the tuners weren't working, I send it back to the supplier, box had 2.1.1 image on it, they flashed it to VIX and then 2.1.0 and confirmed that both tuners are working fine. They also sent me a video to show both tuners working.

Received the box earlier today, connected and now getting this HW ERROR.

Any ideas please ??

PS: Box is definitely Geniuine, bought from Shopping4Satellite. I have this box a week after it was released so there is no chance its Clone.

I have one of the old backups from 2.1.1, if I restore that backup then box works. if I do new installation then i get HW error.
I have tried 2.1.1, 2.1.0 and 2.0.8.

I can't use the old back up from 2.1.1 as one of the tuners doesn't work from that backup.

If you have an internal hard drive, or any USB devices connected, try disconnecting them, then re-flash the latest Black Hole. 2.1.1, but do not use any stored backups, instead manually scan in a few channels, after setting up the tuners, and see if everything works.

Thanks Mick.

This is what I have done so far.....

connected the HDD, disconnected the HDD, disconnected the coax cables, disconnected the HDMI cable, I did all this one by one, I get the same HW error.

No usb or any other cable except the power cable attached.

I flashed the box with BH 2.1.1, 2.1.0 and then 2.0.8 - still gets the same error.

I think you need to contact your supplier, and explain you still have a problem, with the receiver.
Write down a full description of the faults, and that it didn't work, even using the image they had flashed on it.
Don't be nasty but do explain that you have tried everything you can think of, they will probably ask for it to be returned, so that they can check it again.
Also make a note, along with any documentation you have, showing when you bought the receiver, when you returned it, when they returned it to you, including any future problems, and keep all the information safe, you might need this in any future negotiations, if they fail to fix the problems.

Thanks Mick, in fairness the supplier is pretty helpful. Apparently they did test the box before they sent it.

Solo 2 is a fantastic box but I suppose I am just been unlucky with it. Hoping to get it sorted!!
