I need some help; I will try to be as clear as possible (excuse me for this long post).
I will try to solve the problems, with your help, step by step
Please notice that I am not an Linux expert!!!!
Context
First, I will introduce the structure of my home network (Ethernet, RJ45). For years, it is composed of:
The TV set can Browse the DLNA server of DS106e (Audio, Images, Video)
The M740AV can record on DS101j, which is dedicated to it
In France early April this year, the DVB-T SD broadcast will be replaced by a DVB-T2 HD broadcast. I need to replace the M740AV with a good product.
I finally chose the SoloSE V2 equipped with a combo C/T/T2 dual tuner.
New SoloSE V2 Installation
I have received my new SoloSE V2 last week, and since that time I tried to have it working the same way as my Gigaset M740AV adapter. I have tried different images VTI, Black Hole, Open Pli, and finally I came back to Black Hole.
I have made a fresh install (with an USB Key) of the BH image from the file:
BlackHole-3.0.1-vusolose_usb_release_20151124_bfd6ded.zip
I have installed the services and the network, I have made a system update and sort my favourites with DreamboxEdit.
Network share
I then mounted the network share, and I found a severe limitation:
The only directory of my DS101j that I can mount is the "Public" directory, which is at the root.
And more,
I cannot mount a subdirectory of this "public" directory. It is said to be mounted, but the icon on the share is not green and has a red cross. It does not work.
Question :
What is wrong? What I have forgotten?
Recording
It works Fine and SoloSE creates and writes the "movie" directory
Timeshift
The behaviour is very strange:
Watching a TV channel, there is no recording on the server.
If I pause (either by depressing the play button
or pause button) the recording on the server starts, and the programme pauses.
I can play to leave the pause and then I go forward up to real time.
At this real time the recording continues.
Question:
Is it possible to have a permanent timeshift for a programmed duration, which is reset at each channel change?
A bug (?)
When the timeshift is in progress, ones cannot change the channel using the numeric buttons of the remote. It only works with the "channel + or – buttons"
Question:
Is it normal? What I have forgotten?

- 3 x PCs (1 fixed, and 2 laptops, all Windows)
- 1 x Synology DS101j NAS
