I had the same problem in my Vu+solo 4k and I solved with the telnet command that I found two week ago:

telnet :
opkg update;opkg install ffmpeg
opkg install exteplayer3

If you want you can try so.

con eso sigue sin funcionarme , pero he cambiado la imagen a una mas actual y ahora si funciona
