New solo2 box but can't get motor to move

Hi.
I'm a total newbie to the vu world and I am trying to set up my motorised dish. I had a technomate 6900 super but it was on the way out so bought solo 2. It's amazing the speed and picture quality. Only problem is I can't get the motor to move, it's on 19.2e and got all the channels on there but when I try and select 28.2 the icon flashes up but the dish does not move.

Can someone please help me out with an answer.

You have not written about your Tuner configuration

Menu>>Setup>>Service Searching>>Tuner configuration >>Choose tuner

configuration Mode> >>Simple
Mode >>>positioner
Longitude>>> (your Longitude )
Latitude>>> (your Latitude)

I just have a single coax connected into the b connection. It's a technomate motor and an 80cm dish.

Connect Antenna to A Tuner input

Config Tuner A

Menu>>Setup>>Service Searching>>Tuner configuration >>Choose tuner A

configuration Mode> >>Simple
Mode >>>positioner
Longitude>>> (your Longitude )
Latitude>>> (your Latitude)

OK

Config Tuner B

Configuration Mode >> loopthrough to ( Tuner A)

OK

So Tuner B is intern connected to Tuner A
if you use only one LNB.

If you like to use Tuner B as Main Tuner
you can but you have to change configuration

Thanks ready got that bit sorted. I can watch 19.2 but the motor won't move to 28.2 east when I select any of the folders

Do you see that the motor do not turn around or you have no signal ?
Are you sure that the motor is not defective ?

I have the same issue. I have configured as per above but the motor does not move. The light on the motor displays green which shows that there is power. My motor says it supports diseq 1.2 and 1.3. I have tried everything.... The motor works as if you control it manually it moves. The cable that has been installed is a high quality one.

Please post more details, regarding your system, dish/motor etc..
Are you stating that if you go into the menu, and go to motor positioner it will move, East/West, with the motor options?
Have you got it set up on USALS, or Diseqc 1.2?
What are your Tuner settings?
