No Audio after long standby time

Vu+ Newbie
There is a problem with audio after long standby time.
There is no audio. Pushing audio button doesn't change a thing. Switching channels doesn't as well.
Only solution is to reboot the box. I saw there were some improvements with HDMI. And that's the problem I guess. Swiching off HDMI after standby leads to no audio after turning the box on from standby. Plaese help finding solution.

I really don't know what to say.
I haven't got this problem, not on vu+duo, nor on vu+solo, with last BH.
Did you always have this problem or just with last img?
Which img are you using?

I have the same problem, I must turn on the VU before turn on TV to get the audio, otherwise y must disconnect HDMI cable and conect it again.
With other images I dont have this problem.
My TV is a Samsung, maybe the problem is the TV.
It happens always when is in standby, not after a long time in standby.

I also have a samsung, but don't have this problem.
I'm sorry, but i really don't know how to help.

I'm already used to turn on tv first, anyway I will try with an older version of the image to see if it's the same, maybe the 1.3.7
With the old OE 1.5 This problem did not happen.
I'm also going to try the original tonigth
I changed the HDMI cable but this is not the problem

I am sure the problem is connected with this improvment:
  • Disable HDMI hotplug at standby mode
The older version (5.3), and all the softs based on are ok.

Box restart OK
I have the problem with an AV Receiver and PS3 :confused:

test
15 tests ;)
3 tests no picture and sound zapping to HDMI input then ok

a hand-shake problem of TV - Box is normal
You can try to update TV software ;)

Hi
I have the same pb too with BH 1.3.9 , my TV is Toshiba.
also when I tested killall -9 enigma2
after start E2 there is no audio.

I also have the same problem, either reboot your box or power your TV off and on and it also works.
For sure this problem only came in with the latest updates.

Vu+ is looking at this problem.

As there was a ghost screen bug in the old driver, vu+ modified slightly the related codes.
During the modification this audio bug (HDMI mute after standby) emerged accidentally.

Vu+ rolled back the related codes and looking into it.

You can find the rolled back driver in the following link.

thx but we can this rolled back driver use in Blackhole Image ore only Original Firmware?

This drivers are compatible with last BH, but before install these you'd better mae a backup copy of original driver so if something does not work properly you can go back to original ones.

To make a backup of current drivers please copy the content of the folder
