I have some problems with VU+ Duo - there is no sat signal and can't watch channels. Sat box work perfect for about 5 years, 2 weeks ago when I watched, picture freeze and shown 0% signal. When I switch off power and switch on back to normal and worked ok for few days. I went on my holiday so I switched off and few days later when I nack I tried switched it on - no signal. Duo boot no problem, can do everything like before (watch movies from hdd, youtube, etc) except watching tv channels.
I found some info about bad capacitors so I change that:
C812 1000uF/10V
C819 1000uF/10V
C848 1000uF/10V
C816 220uF/16V
C843 220uF/16V
C860 220uF/16V
C264 220uF/16V
I used 1000uF/16V and 220uF/25V. Also change C807 - I used 330uF/16V. All capasitors Panasonic 105*C
Still had no signal. I checked power supply and have that when sat cable is disconect:
5VS - 5V
CON - 4,97V
3V3 - 3,33V
3V3 - 3,33V
5V2 - 5,23V
5V2 - 5,23V
5V2 - 5,23V
12V - 12,26V
34V - 33,4V
That one when connect sat cable:
5VS - 5V
CON - 4,98V
3V3 - 3,33V
3V3 - 3,33V
5V2 - 5,24V
5V2 - 5,24V
5V2 - 5,24V
12V - 12,28V
34V - 33,1V
I also checked voltage on sat cable port: 18V and 13V.
What else I can check/change? Any other idea? VU+ Duo is great sat box and if I can't fix it will need to buy another sat box but maybe someone had same problem and can help me?
Of course I checked antena and work ok on my 2nd old fta sat box.
