Yes you must buy a Ethernet switch, the Vu+ Duo has a 100 megabit network adapter, but you can purchase a Gigabit ethernet switch (1000 megabit), it can be useful in future (transfer between PC - NAS at high speed rate or for the future decoders for Vu+ with gigalan ethernet port)

What is your router model? The router have usually more than 1 Ethernet port, is a 3G router?

Yes, my Netgear router has 4 LAN port, but is far away from TV.
Actually a LAN cable cross my home from router to living room where receivers are, so I need to duplicate this cable, I cannot install a second cable from router to receivers.

So, I can buy an ethernet switch 10/100 or 100/1GB, both run in my case?

Thx, regards

P.S. are You Italian, correct?

Ok, you have a single ethernet cable because router is far, in other room.

Yes, you must buy an ethernet switch, 10 / 100 or 10 / 100 / 1000 depends on your budget
