Ordering scripts

Hi, I added some scripts in my /usr/script folder but it is not clear how they are ordered. Surely neither alphabetically nor by their creation date.
I, obviously, tried to rename them in various ways: by a number prefix (1-, 2-, etc.) or by a letter (a-, b-...) but they are as they want.
The oddest thing is that, doing that, the order changes, but surely not alphabetically.
Is there a way to perform this action?

Yes, and it’s not even the adding order it follows. Seems random

I have 2 identical sets of scripts for 2 boxes; each box has its own order.
As you did, I tried everything from modifying the date to numbering....etc.
I hope BH team could explain this to us.
