Problem playing MKV via DLNA

I have a shared drive in DLNA mode connected to a router in my home network. On Vu + solo 4K, I launch the DLNA client and then through Dream Explorer I try to find and run my MKV files on the disk. But for some reason MKV files look with m3u extention instead of MKV. When I try to play it only some code is displayed.

How to fix it?

Why such a complicated way to play files? If you use BH, there is a great plugin almost indispensable: EMC (Enhanced Movie Center) which allows you to get over the BH difficulties in browsing your devices and folders.
If you use OBH there is no need even of EMC.

If you have a NAS with DLNA function it should show as a .m3u file for .mkv and accully other files since the DLNA protocol is limited to only mpeg1 mpeg2 mpeg4 VC1 MPV1
If there is other format then this then the DLNA server willl stream the .mkv file to Mpeg2 format so that all DLNA clients can use the file.
since the coding is done in real time you should share your NAS over cabel network and not Wlan.

Server software for your NAS is on the installation CD or can be downloaded.
