Problem with Meoboot

Dear Freind ,

I have foramted USB flash memory with EXT3 linux format , but, after installing it to VU SOLO and going to Memoboot section , the system cannot detect it , so i have some question

first , which format is known formt for vu solo with blackhole 1.5.1
second , how to format flash with STB

Have you mounted your USB stick as /media/hdd OR /media/usb ?

Hi x30pvr,

I Would recommend to format with win FAT32 , then format with STB (2x blue> device manager>.yellow),,,mount USB (save)
finally install meoboot plugin,,,it worked 4me , hofully 4U!

hi a911 ,

i hvae done task based on your recomand , however, sytem dont detect usb
is there any fault that i didt pay attention it

because after format usb by system , i strted to moute from following way

pressing green then going to memoboot and finally press red

Mount @ Device manger:-

2x blue> choose mount location, mapping.. (as Anglo said : media/usb.) move RC arrows <> left or right!
Then press red,,,info window will appear.... OK....e2 restart.
There is more posts that talk about the issue , please read,,,its more fun,,,:ice:!
And good way 2 learn!

Also there is a new problem
all task that you told me was finished as well as , and also i did based on following help

However, system after booting doesnt show a new boot so as to select new one just automatically go to okd one

so sorry ,

I mean i follow your solution and finally I have succeeded to format usb and mount it to stb and ..

my target is install another image by multibooting solution so i follow follwing doc :

and now all thing was finished ,however, i cannot boot to new image and use it

Ok fine,,,,Go slowly , and read the thread U posted,

Make sure 2have the right image for the external USB flash, and put it @meoboot!

Do few trials , just have fun, and U'll be there...no need for rushing!

Sir ,

I have reached up to following sentence :

Now, when you open MeoBoot you will see all the installed images and you will able to manage them.​

You will be able to choice the image for next boot (green button), to delete a multiboot image (yellou button) or to use MeoBoot Tools (blue button).​

so , after this step i dont know how to switch in new image or maybe system doesnt go to new boot​

Do U know how 2use DCC program?
if yes!
Do the following
go to the path....media\USB\MbootUpload...ftp the new image,,,,go to meboot .,,press the red B (Install image)...now U'll see the image there,,,etc!

And remember BH Team do not support images on Multi boot ( USB external Flash) as always posted..Only image @ enternal flash,,,so this as far I will go,,,only use meoboot for testing new other images for the fun of it , thats all...and then go back to BH 95% of the time!

Oh Thanks a lot for time that you vest for me

yes i know how to use from ftp program such as filezilla and so one and also I have put one image in mentioned adress and also I installed it ,
but no any changing after installation

system started to reeboot and also went to new multiboot page ,however, i cannot select new image and run it

also you told me , BH doesnt support image which installed in external usb , so by this way i want to now what is usage of this new option

U"r free 2use what ever u like, however,check the image U'r putting @ meoboot upload may be the file is corrupted,,,and would recommend go for clean BH 1.5.1 image for multi boot,,,lets see!
