Problems with latest drivers

Hello VU Team!

I test drivers from 18.08.2010 to 08.10.2010 and still have bug with playback files from hdd.After few minutes playback freeze or scratchy.When move forward work ok and few minutes issues repeat.Test more files....Only work driver from 13.08.2010...

What kind of files do you play from HDD?

I've played with success MKV and DivX with latest drivers (08/10/2010 - GCC 4.4.3) stored on CIFS share.

The only file type who cannot play (at the moment) is XVid MPEG4 but I have few files of that kind.

On the last Original Image (5.3) or third party image based on the same code, the media player work very well.

It's very strange. What kind of HDD do you have installed into your Vu+Duo or connected via eSATA port?
At this moment I've a Samsung 320gb internal SATA disk installed.

Do you have the possibility to test another HDD or test your disk on another box?

I have read on the web about your drive and seems that it's a good disk.

Which image you use??? Now I test DE 1.34c with latest drivers and work till now ok....Seems E2 problem...

I have the same problem. My hard drive is Samsung 1TB 32MB HD103SJ F3 sATA-2. My inside box image is VTi 2.1. MKV files work fine. There is a problem with AVI files. Will the problem be solved?

Are you try the latest BlackHole image?
Maybe both images your try did not have the latests drives...

You must download latest driver from Vu+ web site or from this board into respective Official sub-forum (Duo or Solo).

I have similar problem and my is SSD disk.
Latest VTi installed with all updates done.

I installed all the updates. Still the same. No problem with mkv files and scratchy avi playback.

It is problem VTI 2.1 image....BlackHole 1.3.7 is ok with latest drivers...
