How do i set up usb to record ive read the thread how to set up record i can suss tha. But how to i setup usb stick and can i use it front port on vu+ solo cause i use back one for 7 day epg..

Have you got dream box control centre (DCC) ?

Yes mate the guy who sorted me box out sent me link

Yes mate the guy who sold me box emailed me the link. So i can arrange channels how i want them... do i have to connect to my box off laptop if so how do i connect to box..

that sounds like dreamboxedit mate? dcc is used for ftp and telnet etc. no you can connect to box through router aslong as box and laptop are using same 1 i.e on same network

yes mate. ive only had box bout 6 months and have picked it all up.

ive got hard drive mate on duo. yer that will do. open vucc

then put in the ip address of your vu this can be found menu>setup>system>network>adaptersettings

What EPG do you use mate cross EPG or just the standard image EPG? If cool man TV guide has gone try manually uninstalling it and reinstalling it mate. Green button>yellow button. Are you on 28.2east sat

Its back on now tryd the epg backup all back on now.. hopefully stay like it . Its crossepg im not sure what im on were does it tell me what sat im on.. all i know ive got alot of irish chanels on mine like utv which is irish itv
