Reset Password to Default

Hi, i have Vu Solo with Black Hole 2.1.4. trying to get in with FTP, but the person that has the box, it is not mine, has password but does not remember, i do not want to flash again, is there way to reset Password to Default, Thanks!!!!

I find way to get inside with network, not with ftp, could some one tell me where is the password located???, i mean like etc, usr and so on, so i can find out, Thanks!!!

Very strange... How did you entered into the file system?

AFAIK Linux based systems don't store user password somewhere in plain text...

It is strange yes but this is fault of linux i think, if you are Connected on the same router, using Windows 7, you go to Computer, Network, Vu Solo, Configuration Share, and you are In, myself, i have firewall on router, password on my box, openwebif protected, as before some one got in to my box, so i have high security now, thanks!!

That should not be possible on Linux.
I suspect you have a problem with the ftp application you are using (SSH?), or the box ftp service has not started.
Have you tried with telnet?
