It will be a bit long because I want to describe fully the situation.
From some time my second tuner in Ultimo doesn't work. I discovered the issue 2-3 months ago and tried to find as many info as I could and try everything but I failed.
When one program is recording I'm not able to watch another. After few seconds after change I'm receiving a message 'No data on transponder! (Timeout reading PAT)'
I have dual LNB set to HotBird with about 70-80% of both level and quality. Dish and LNB changed for new few weeks ago.
Box setup:
- first tuner: easy setup, single, Hotbird, no Diseqc
- second tuner: 'same as first' (I tried also other options but without success)
Swapped the tuners - no change - can record from A, cannot watch B. From this I presume both tuners are OK.
Swapped cables - no change - can record from A, cannot watch B.
Satfinder on the box shows good levels on both tuners.
There is one interesting:
When I do manual scan on the transponder I know it has my fav programs:
- tuner A - searches it very quickly and finds some services (about 18)
- tuner B - search takes about 10-15 seconds and result is 0 services
I swapped tuners with cables and did above again - the results were the same - Tuner A gives 18 services, Tuner B - 0.
At the moment I use VTi latest image but I tried with few older, BlackHole, original - and the same results every time.
When I changed in VTi settings 'Use tuner B' - I'm not able to watch or record anything.
What's going on there?
