Solo2 Solo SE v2 external IR not working

hello all, newbie here so please be gentle.

I've recently purchased a solo SE v2 with VIX image. All is working perfectly with USB hdd except I can't get the external IR to work. Remote works fine on box but as soon as I connect the external IR I lose remote.

I've tried hot plugging it, standby plugging and power off plugging. I've also tried with and without the USB hdd connected.

When I connect the external IR I get the green light on the external receiver so it's getting power.

Am I missing a setting or doing something wrong here or could it simply be a faulty IR receiver?

NEW IRDA SENSOR PROBLEM on VU SOLO V2, (with or without ext cable irda)

I HAVE INSTALLED Black Hole 3.0.2.H Kodi

i also tried openatv the lastest

on new vu solo se v2, and when i press on remote controller, the decoder receive more than one press button option, randomly like crazy.

is impossible to use.

seems like PCB of V2 on IRDA is different on PCB of version1

no body have seen this problem...


i also changed the decoder v2 to shop with new one thinking was damaged, but also the new one have same problem.

i have also a vu solo old version, and work perfectly with the same image that i tried to install on v2

yeah, I saw it
same as the last login date of infoman...


but I expect to have better chance of help from infoman than you mate :-(
