Turbo sub tuner

Hello.
Can anyone tell me a bit more about the turbo usb tuner please.
I have a solo2 and was thinking about adding one to it for fta cable.
Seems a cheaper option than upgrading to a duo2.
Thanks

What more do you need to know ?

If you are running either Bh 2.1.7 or OBH 0.1, just plug the Turbo tuner into your Solo2 and reboot the box, when it restarts set it up as you would normally setup a tuner, job done.

Ive set the tuner configuration up to-

Tuner type.................. DVB-C

Used service scan type.............. Provider
Provider to scan ............ virgin UK (6952)
doing a complete scan with network scan selected yes.

You can try using this cables.xml instead of the 1 in the image (I can't remember if it is the same or not).

First you need to telnet into your box, and then use the command:

Code:
 init 4

Then ftp the file to /etc/tuxbox and overwrite the existing cables.xml file

Then in telnet use the command:

Code:
reboot

Once the box is up and running again, just double check the tuner settings are still correct, then try and do a scan and see if it finds anymore channels.

Go to the plugins panel then manage extensions and then have a look around in there for the drivers.

Sorry I can not help more than that, as I don't use the PLi image

Question: In DVB-T2/T configuration is option to enable 5V for active antena. But LED on antena indicates no power. I try power antena with TV/external adapter and it works. I Use antena Technisat Digiflex TT2.
Is turbo tuner faulty or configuration option 5V is fake?

First of all you tried to see if your antenna needs to provide separate power supply?
Is usually so then I do not know in your case 5 volts which are insufficient and usually used for food or amplifiers of passive antenna and things like that but definitely not to feed the 'antenna
Bye

Another user (owner of this tuner) has confirmed that VU+ Turbo Tuner has not implemented 5V for antena.
You could ignore this configuration setting, it has no effect. :(
