Typing into Opera Browser

The Solo2 remote doesn't include, as far as I can tell anyway, any method to type into the browser. A URL woks ok but not when it comes to logging into a site. In my case (on day 3) I want to log into my Mubi.com account. The keys just produce numbers. Anyone know a workaround for this please?

Found a semi solution. A USB keyboard works with the box. However, Mubi has asked for an updated flash player. First, which linux file type should i use and how does one make sure it's installed correctly?

Since posting, I have found a Lenovo mini keyboard and mouse pad that works with Opera for typing. However, I am still at a loss re: flash player. Coming to the view that it should be the one compatible with Ubuntu. Any view?

Another update. I bought the better remote control with the QWERTY keyboard on the back. Frankly this should be standard.
