VFD ISSUE

Hello

I've a build of BH v2.0.5 installed on my VU+ DUO2. The problem is the VFD only displays 'Vu+ Duo2 CFE V2' all the time. I can't change the skin_user.xml in /etc/enigma2/ as it gets overwritten on reboot again. Can anyone tell me how to change this?

On the official BH Image other information was shown here like time, station name and so on. This meant I could show different info on the LCD screen, which I want.

First , make sure update the CFE-v2 BEFORE update BH 2.0.5 vB.
Then, the VFD should work. If you want to do some individual information display, modify the configuration file skin_user.xml . There are a few copied in this forum and you can just upload it to your receiver.
It should be ok. Good luck!

OK - I've got CFE v 2 on the box now but it was updated using the build of BH 2.0.5 v B that I installed, I think any way. Should I install the Original Image from VU+ again, then make sure I've got CFE v 2 installed, then install Official BH Image v2.0.5 without extras. When all this is done install the extras separately?

Thanks

I have not very clear what cause the problem. But a clear installation often is the easiest way to sort out the problem. I think flashing an image only takes you a few minutes. The most time costing is scaning the channels and sort them. If your receive is function except the VFD display, and I were you, I will backup the channel list only then flashing the system. Good luck.

That's exactly what I did. I was using an unofficial BH backup and I think this was a bad idea. Updated to official BH 2.0.6 and installed cams, plugins and addons separately and now everything is working perfect.

Thanks
