Hi, i've got a VU+DUO2 reciever with 2x Twin DVB-S2 Tuners but the 4 connectors round the back are red hot to touch and i'd like to know if this is normal please.I've also got problems with the built in WLAN where i can only connect to WEP or disabled security and get a message "can NOT generate a passphrase" when i try to connect to WPA2 Personal.

About hot tuners you can try to update CFE.
About WLAN I've tested the box with WPA and WPA2 encrypted networks and works correctly. Check your wireless router settings.

The router that i'm using is a Linxsys WRT54GS WPA2 Personal security and i have 4 Game consoles connected wirelessly, WII,WIIU,PS3 and 3DS but whenever i try to connect the VU+DUO2 with WPA 2 Personal i get the message "can NOT generate a passphrase"

Try to use into Duo2 configuration the item "WPA/WPA2" instead of WPA2 only. Also enable both encryption protocol on your router.

Be sure to check the SSID field of your wireless, probably it's better to let the decoder discover by itself the SSID.
I initially found a lot of problems to get the SSID in the correct field of the wifi configuration setup, as it was always indicated in the manual hidden SSID field, and I was getting the same misleading (IMHO) error message.
Do you use a hidden wireless network (no SSID broadcast)?

The Duo2 box finds my SSID without a problem as i have my SSID broadcast enabled on my router

I've tried "WPA/WPA2" instead of WPA2 only, without any luck and it looks like i can only enable 1 encryption protocol at a time on my router.

Hello to all, even with this receiver I bought two days ago I have a serious problem of overheating, especially the dual tuner sat and dtt, impossible to touch them for too long or else risk a sunburn ... the temperature with fan set to maximum 40 gadi on standby and 42/45 vision in ..... How can we solve? tried to replace with another decoder but same problem ....
use latest image, so I guess with the latest drivers ...
I keep it or return to the step with right of withdrawal?
Hello and thank you
