vu NFIimage question

can i ask have vu images in NFI files stopped and no longer available
i have only every used the usb to flash my receiver, but i have a mate
who asked if i know where there are nfi files for the vu+duo he says his
duo wont recognise the usb stick when he tried to update his box to the
blackhole 1.7.2 and could only find usb files. and he says has also flashed the
duo_cfe_3_0_usb. file that did load ok then tried the 1.7.2 that would'nt load,
and his box got stuck on starting. from what he says it's some time since the image
was last updated plus he has always used the loader panel and null modem cable
with the NFI files that always loaded and worked first class. then after finding
a old NFI image on a forum he found that loaded and the box works ok. but he
wants to update with the blackhole 1.7.2 image to get the best from his box and
it's just the usb file that wont. any info help or tips on how to sort this problem if anyone
has had this problem would be very usefull

can i just give everyone a update on this problem
that is now solved, my mate tried a few usb sticks
to rule out a faulty usb stick, then he download a number of
different vu+duo usb images and started to try and get one to
load after a few goes the pli image flashed by usb and obviously
cleared the blockage, he then flashed the usb blackhole 1.7.2 and
it loaded fully and the box is working normally.i hope this helps
