I have bought a secondhand unit and want to reset it to original VU+. Where can I find out about new software update? I can't find anything on VU+ website.

Thank you for your reply, Matrix10.
Now, I have download the software and unzip the file on my pc.
Copy the file to the USB flash drive and insert it in on the front USB input of the unit. The unit is turn off.
When I turn on the unit it starts up with the 4K logo on the front display as normal.

1. Format USB stick FAT32 on your PC
2.Unzip image zip file and copy all folders and files on to USB stick
3.Flash image

Thank you for the guide.
I have format the USB stick with FAT 32 (standard) and copy the unzip file "vuplus-image-vusolo4k-20181121152034_usb" to the USB stick.
I have try it with two USB sticks to be sure but there is no "press power on" on the front display.

You fave downloaded the file vuplus-image-vusolo4k-20181121152034_usb that is a ZIP file !!!!
First UNZIP and after copy vuplus folder in your Usb stick.

PS: Power button is right next to the left of the USB socket (watch the Youtube video well).

Check if you have on USB five files in
\vuplus\solo4k\
(after unpacking and copying folders and files from the downloaded ZIP file from your PC)

If you have a connected hard drive
take it out.

Try the oldest and smallest USB stick you have, about 2Gb.

I think yes look to post and try find bouthon "Edit " after push this bouthon you will be possible edit.
Or give link to this post and write whot you can write/edit [ im copy to your post ] .

The "Edit" button is only available when I post the thread. When somebody reply the thread the "edit" button is disappeared.

Please be kind to change "MSN" to "MSM" at the end in my thread reply "number 3".

You have right EDIT is possible only in next minute after write post.

Hi!
My receiver is a Solo4k,running Black Hole 3.0.1F
1.) I could not install any new B.H. version.
I have two pendrives (8 Gb.), formatted: Fat32 and EXT4.
Each has the only unpacked Black Hole 3.0.8 "vuplus" directory.
My stb. does not want to upgrades the new image.

2.) I not able to transfer any file my Pc to stb.
FileZilla and VuCC_v08 have not made connection. (Acces violation is sed)
At first time -only ones- they worked correctly.
My Pc rans Linux Mint. Can somebady help me?

If your PC O.S is inux, probably it formatted the pendrives not correctly.
Surely you can't format it as ext3 or ext4.
If you have a partition tool:
make sure you have only one partition
choose FAT and not FAT32, if possible.
And, anyway, 2 pendrives are too few to be sure to succeed, based on other users' experiences.
