What VLC version do you use?
You can try to flag the checkbox (on OpenWebif page) "Zap before tune" or similar one.

I suggest you to generate *.m3u files using BH tuner (folder "tuner" on Vu+ HDD). Then copy the folder to your PC and open needed m3u with VLC, Windows mediaplayer, XBMC or Stereoscopic player ( for a 3d channel). Works fine:)

For XBMC when I choose channel is not changing n OpenWebif. I have to choose the channel that is n TV/OpenWebif
