Vu+solo2 gigabit problem

Hi everyone!!

I have a strange problem..its like this when i transfer a file from the solo2 box to my computer its gigabit speed ( 55mb/s) BUT when i want to send to the solo2 box from my computer it will only send at 6mb/s...
I have tried different ftp clients like filezilla and flash etc..and from different computers at home.
Using open pli 4.0.
Do i have to re flash the box and maby try blackhole instead of open pli?

Can you please try to send files to youre Vu+solo2 harddrive and see what kind of speed you get.

Many reviews says that and i quote:

LAN is very fast and supports speeds up to 1Gbit. Solo2 uses RTL8211E chip and its quite a performer. I measured speeds up to 30MB/s when downloading from receiver using CIFS. Upload speeds are sadly a lot lower and I achieved speeds up to 9MB/s. In the future this can change as drivers will improve for sure.

I've took a look in the kenrel configuration for Solo2 but the RTL8211E option is not yet enabled... so the Gigabit interface is attached directly to CPU and this one has internally the components and instructions to provide networking stack.

@why83 : I already gave you an answer. Why don't you try with other image to check, if it's not your router problem (settings)?
