VU+ TURBO TUNER USB PROBLEM

Hello,

I use the new VU+ USB TUNER on DVB-T2 on VU+ UNO and BLACKHOLE 3.0.2.F with the last upgrade.
I connect this new tuner and reboot and have a new tuner (tuner DVB_T2, DVB_C) but the internal tuner DVBS2 is now unsupported and labeled 'Dummy tunner'.

I try to do a scan on USB tunner and alll the DVBT channels are found and EPG works fine.

But, I have black screen on each channel.

I use a also a key a 4GO USB key with two partitions. One of 2 GO for flash memory and the other for universal Univers.

Ram= 30 %
SWAP= 0%
Flash=3%

If the USB DVBT tuner is disconnected the DVBS2 TUNER works fine.

Where is the problem ?

Regards

@grabbers1

I try that:

/etc/rcS.d$ cd /lib/modules/3.9.6
/lib/modules/3.9.6$ cp modules.dep modules.dep.bkp
/lib/modules/3.9.6$ grep -v kernel/drivers/media modules.dep.bkp > modules.dep
/lib/modules/3.9.6$ depmod -A
/lib/modules/3.9.6$ cd /etc/rcS.d/
/etc/rcS.d$ mv S05modutils.sh S03modutils.sh
mv: can't rename 'S05modutils.sh': No such file or directory
/etc/rcS.d$ reboot

Same Problem.

Tuner A : VUPLUS DVB-S NIM(AVL2108) (DVB-T2)
Tuner B: DUMMY Tuner (Pas supporté)

With the last BlackHole 3.02F, there is a confllict between USB tuner and DVBS2 tuner.

Have someone a solution ?

I try again :

/etc/rcS.d$ cd /lib/modules/3.9.6
/lib/modules/3.9.6$ cp modules.dep modules.dep.bkp
/lib/modules/3.9.6$ grep -v kernel/drivers/media modules.dep.bkp > modules.dep
/lib/modules/3.9.6$ depmod -A
/lib/modules/3.9.6$ cd /etc/rcS.d/
/etc/rcS.d$ mv S05modutils.sh S03modutils.sh
/etc/rcS.d$ reboot

It works now.

Thanks for your help.

There is also a strange issue.
After a time of use, the tuner hang and it looklike to a bad reception quality.
After a reboot, all works fine, but it is not normal to have to do all the time a reboot.

Unfortunately, this problem also exists on my box.

Ok.
An enigma2 restart isn't enought. Probably a bug in buffers drivers in BlackHole 3.0.2. The memory is OK.

It seems to be good on BlackHole 2.17.

With BlackHole 2.1.7, the USB Tuner works better : easier to instal it, no reboots.

For the CAM, it is more stable, no freezes. For an old BOX like a UNO, BlackHole 2.1.7 is more stable.

I try the VTI 9.0.3 with USB TURBO TUNER and same problem, after a bit of time it is necessary to reboot : probably a driver problem. I don't know if this usb tuner works fine on the new Vu+ boxes.

I see also a litle thing : Around my house there are two TNT antennas and the receiver catches the first found transponders but not the better. Comparing to tuner TV i fixes the good frequencies and bandwiths.

It seems now to be good on VTI 9.0.3 after a new instal, probably i had deleted some principal plugins at the first instal.
