Hi,
Ive bought HDMI extenders with IR, but problem is that the connector is stereo 3,5mm minijack.
And the port on the VU+ Zero is IR/RS232. How come they are using this old variant still? Or is there another technial issue? Now to the main problem, how to find the right kind of adapter from ir/rs232 (quess its rj11) to stereo 3,5mm minijack? Ive tried to search alot for this, but havent had any luck besides some china sites likes aliexpress etc. Was hoping someone can point me to the right location or know exactly what needed for getting this to work? My plan is to have the receiver in a separate closet and using only HDMI extenders and Network cable (CAT6a) to transfer the HDMI signal, but right now the main problem is the IR extender functionality.
