just got a vu+ zero but it seems quite hot on the top. Is this normal?

Yes it does run warm.

Yes i think is ok when is hot but no very hot.
But is good have all boxes on place where air have no problem to move around box.

You can use a fan, to keep your receiver cool, they're quite cheap.

How many degrees is quite hot? Use a good device to measure the heat, and use the heat measuring device correctly. About or around 50-60 degrees Celsius would be normal.

A person that sits behind a desk and usually touches nothing warmer than a computer keyboard may say something is hot or very hot, while a baker, welder, or someone that works around a lot of heat may say the same item is barely warm.

Nuestro cuerpo está a 36ºC, pero los dedos están a 26-28ºC, por eso parece muy caliente, no está nada caliente, cuando medi uno (con sensor de contacto).
