What is the best and quickest way to get EPG?

Hi all

I have blackhole 2.1.4 and noticed their is lots of ways to get the EPG, now I use cooltvguide to actually view the tv guide.
But my question is what is the best and/or fastest way to get my EPG for 7 days for all my Sky uk channels?

as their is all these crossepg, openepg, opentv etc,

just need to make sure I have the correct settings enabled on my boc and don't have settings that I don't need, such as more then one EPG source if I don't need it.

I find that in crossepg use the opentv providers option then choose Skyuk and downlod the epg from there

how can I make sure that the box isn't downloading the EPG data from multiple sources - as im guessing this would:

1: slow the process down
2: cause problems in the EPG such as certain channels missing EPG data

I notice at the moment when scrolling through the EPG certain channels are missing EPG data such as summaries etc, is their an issue with the way my box is setup or isit to do with the actual data its downloading, maybe form the wrong source

also does crossepg allow you to automatically download the epg data
