Why do you prefer Black Hole?

Hello! I'm pretty new to the Vu+ world, and am currently using the VIX image, but am looking around. I noticed most here prefer Black Hole, and I was wondering why.

What is it you like about it compared to other images?

None can say which is the best img if you don't try.
My advice is to try many imgs so you can use the one you prefer.

Best speed (fastest), very good integrated EPG system,excellent optimized for vu+ in cooperation with with vu+ team for best possible utilization of hardware resources,best skiners (@Matrix10 and Army),"user friendly" image,much improvements in image which have not in other images... You need to try.

BH is a good stable image. (stability is my pri #1)
Still some bugs with subtitle, like on SKY UK it get three big lines starting middle on the screen and down.

There is something else that those who use longer our image
know and that is very accessible Panels and Menu system
that does not exist in most other images.
Once you get used to this panel system is difficult to get used
to another.

Many my friends bought vu+duo because here is favorite BH image and VU+ quality. All of them told me and I think same, 2 things need to be better, 1)to improve SD picture quality 2) fix bugs in multimedia (media player)

We hope that the VU + to hear the voice of users(like in past) and these two things to do in cooperation with BH !

Sorry to be a party pooper but I dont like the image simply because of the politics behind it, my 2 cents worth

i do like this image but not using it beacouse of the policy of the forum about using emus (in my house have three recievers 1 in main room ant the other 2 at the bedrooms and all the time have to carry the card with me and place it at the reciever that i am waching ....:mad:)
Sorry about that but with other images dont have to do it , i just place the card in one reciever and my kids at the other room can wach what ever they like

Are there any statistics on how many use this image?
If I was a software creator, I would have done like apple, make a call home function.
This way the creator would have a track of how many uses it.

You can find the number of downloads in the release thread of single images :)

What is illegal about using a emu to watch YOUR own card in the internal slot of the vu+duo.
This is why I refuse to use black hole

If you have not paid the royalties to the codification system owners, it is illegal to reproduce your subscription on your Vu+.

If you want to reply, don't be OT.
JoeH asked "Why do you prefer Black Hole?" and not "Why don't you like Black Hole image?"

Other images who provide emu downloads are all ILLegal I guess
Its just easier as it installs in the right folders this is why people need that emu from a feed on an image and from the manual install from some sites for BH image it never work stable so in short less and less people use BH now BUT BUT its a legal image as all others are illlegal
