I've installed WOL Setup extension from System extensions ... and I don't find a thing about Wake On Lan in Network menu, etc. what does it? and where?

I use to install "wakelan_1.1-r2_mips32el" in order to wake up my computer and a Cloud hdd box from my vu+ solo2... It works so well, but I thought that WOL setup extension from the menu will allow me to find wake on lan commands into the menus ¿?

Thanks. Regards.

Taking care about the success I've got with this post, does anyone here know where (forum, websites, etc.) I've to post this doubt in order to get some help, at least some answers?

Thanks. Regards.

I don't know if Solo2 can send Magic Packets to wakeup your other equipments. I never tried it and I don't know where you can find the plugin you have currently installed.
You can take a look in the IPK and determine where are the files you have installed and take a look in your system for the config plugin, if present.

I can confirm it's 100% possible. With the package "wakelan_1.1-r2_mips32el" it's installed "wakelan" command and you can wakeup Computers, etc. able to WakeOnLanmagic through magic packets.

But I want to know what does or installs WOL Setup extension ... from the system extensions installation option... I don't know to catch the IPK and take a look on it... because it's installed directly.

Thanks. Regards.

You can take a look to files installed by a package with this telnet command:
Code:
opkg files packagename
This output is taked from my Vu+Solo4K:
Code:
root@vusolo4k:~# opkg files zeroconf
Package zeroconf (0.9-r1-vuplus0) is installed on root and has the following files:
/etc/default/zeroconf
/usr/sbin/zeroconf
/etc/network/if-up.d/zeroconf
