Is It Possible to watch your bouquets / Channels from the DUO on the PS3?

hi all

i have noticed on another forum that it is possible with a dm500, does anybody know if this is possible with the DUO

i would love to get this working - i could post more about it but don't won't to link the other forum

i noticed somebody asked in a thread awhile ago but no more comments are allowed, this what angelofthesky1980 posted but no replies regarding it, please see below..
hope somebody has achieved this

It's a good question but I haven't a good answer for you and other users who asked the same thing :(

thanks for the reply angelofsky1980.................thats a shame, really wish could get it to work

do you think its possible in theory?

if it works on a DM500, surely could get it working on the great DUO hehe

if i could find out where the DUO stores the web interface and its files, maybe i could put the file (from the DM500) in that location, to see if it will work

You can try to report here the steps and we can study togheter a solution or implementation.
If works on old dm500 must go on Duo :D

here are the instructions for the DM500, hope this is not breaking rules etc

"Download the zipped file attached to this posthttp://www.iota.gr/dreambox2ps3/ps3.zip
Unzip it on your hard disk.
Use ftp to upload ps3.html into /usr/share/tuxbox/enigma/htdocs on your dreambox.
Turn on your PS3 and head to Network > Internet Browser
Enter your dreambox ip, e.g. http://192.168.1.2
Enter your username and password.
Enter your dreambox ip+ps3.html, e.g. http://192.168.1.2/ps3.html
Click on your favourite folder.
Click on your favourite channel.
Show a little patience and you'll enjoy a stream of your favourite channel through PS3.
Every time you need to stream from dreambox to PS3, you need to first visit dreambox's main ip (e.g. 192.168.1.2) to enter your username and password and then move on to ps3.html

This solution has been tested on the latest PS3 and PLi for dreambox 7020."

i have tried the following locations but have not worked

i have put the ps3.html - /usr/lib/enigma2/python/Plugins/Extensions/WebInterface - but didn't work

also have now tried it in - /usr/share/mediatomb/web - i thought it might of worked there, there is a few html files in that folder

if can find the website folder on the duo, then hopefully this ps3.html file will work

You can try to install the zapstream plugin from Software Manager (Menu -> Settings -> System -> Software manager). I haven't verified if it's present on official Vu+ repository.

thanks angelofsky1980 - i have the black hole image, and when i press menu, i can select, system, then select, but no software manager,

i can find software management, and thats menu,setup,software management - only then have a choice of, manage extensions, software restore,backup system settings, restore system settings......if i select manage extensions, then i get a long list of things but no idea where i should go into, as dont think its the right place

do you have any ideas????

found the answer on google: PLI image have zapstream installed, other image NO
zapstream is necessary on dm500

PS: with edg nemesis on dm500 i can't copy ps3.html in share/tuxbox/enigma/htdocs

PPS: sorry for off-topic

You can look into the list for zapstream plugin and install it if you found what you need.

This is a Vu+ Community. No support for other boxes.

If it's a standard E2 plugin, it's avaiable for all other images.

it's not a E2 plugin, is E1 plugin.
i search in manage extensions but there isn't zapstream
i search on google zapstream for E2 and i haven't found

only for E1 pli image and for other image with some little mod

Uhm ... I will ask to BH coders or one of our Beta Tester who play with python and plugins to take a look for the plugin you write.

i do hope we could get this to work, it would save money not having to purchase another box for the bedroom, just use the ps3 :)

YES it's possible und works perfect with SD/HD chanels
