Vu+ Zero reboots when zapping channels

Hi ! I have a Vu+ Zero. I didnt use it frequently the last two years and i decided to update the channel list. Suddenly when i try to change channel using the left/right button after 4-5 changes the receiver reboot by itself !!!
I did an update to 3.1.0 (clear from 2.1.4) , config the tuner, upload the satellite.xml and channel list , but the problem remains. Any thoughts ????

Instead of using channel lists made by others, why don't you use a receiver for its original purpose? Scan your channels and organise them in bouquets. Channel list or plugins for settings are not always innocuous but they sometimes alter system files.
I suspect you did not install a channel list but a autosetting plugin, instead...

Nop , i installed a channel list (modified) using dreamboxEDIT. But at the time i am trying to find a solution searching forum etc, the box still rebooting by itself without me changing channels. So is something different and i believe has nothing to do with zapping. Its something else.

This is what i'm looking for. You have to excuse me, i dont know how or where i can find it. Cant say i am an expert. If you can guide me nugiaia , I will be grateful.

Thanks p.rodrigues !! Unfortunately there isnt any log file in the aboove folder. The zero reboots every 1-1,5 minutes !!!! Without touch the remote !!!

Als the date remains the same 1.1.1970. Automatic search cant do cause interrupted by the reboot. Cant finish the search

Place a new image on the box. It makes the tuner configuration and does a search. What satellite do you have the antenna pointed out?

I'll try another image tomorrow. But the same problem was before with 2.1.4. I have an Spaun SAR411WSG 1/4 with three lnbs for Hotbird 13 (twin lnb), Astra 19,2 and Astra 23,5 . Setup i have choose DISEqC A/B/C/D/

Such as ??? The other option is to go to advanced configuration or to try manual the 3 lnbs if any of them creates problem to receiver....

Yes you can try one by one... without passing the DISEqC and pay attention to the Tuner configuration on the box. If everyone is well or the DISEqC is not good or the settings are bad. If the first LNB test does not der continua to others... will confirm that the cable is good.

Thanks all for reply to me question. Today i installed another image. I change the configuration, only work for hotbird, i lost Astra (!!!) , later i try to check the diseqc switch and i lost everything !!!!
When i tried automatic configuration for disecq the receiver did 2 or 3 restarts. When i disconnected the cable connector from the receiver, the restarts stopped. So has to do with the diseqc switch.
Cause i dont have the right equipment right now to connect two female f-type connectors, and here in Greece is Easter holidays (!!!) , next days i'll get a couples of new connectors and adapter (to check the cable) and a new diseqc switch (i believe that is the problem).

For it could only be something on DISEqC/Cable/ LNB...

Good holiday! But the Easter only now arrived in Greece? I could enjoy myself every month....:p

Whoever will be right in time... Holidays are never too much, as there are doubts in time, every month there should be Easter!:D

I'm playing... respect all beliefs and not beliefs, which is my case.

Today i tried to connect just one lnb to receiver (without tthe diseqc switch) . The reciever continues to do the same thing. Restart after 1 - 2 minutes either Hot bird or Astra (different lnb). So the cause wasnt the diseqc switch. I dont know what's the problem. Maybe tthe receiver ?? Any idea ???

Maybe it's time to reflash your image? Clearly there is something wrong in it. It's pointless to do all these tries if you have troubles. Just reflash your box by a clean image and don't install any plugins...
