LNB OPTIONS

I just bought a vu+ duo 4k se. my setup is a motorised 1m channel master with standard lnb driven by a v-box diseqc to 36volt actuator arm, I have the tuners set to advanced 1.2 diseqc and the other to second cable of a motorised dish, would it be possible to use a Unicable LNB to get more recording options.

If I get a Unicable LNB what would I set the tuners to, 1 is set to advanced 1.2 diseqc to drive the v-box what setting would I use for the second input.

If you have nothing connected (no cable) to Tuner 2
then Configuration mode is Loop trough from
(internal connection of Tuner 2 with Tuner 1)
Which tuner it is depends on the position in the receiver slot.
Keep in mind that only one letter ,usually the first tuner is a physical tuner the rest are virtual tuners
For the first tuner, you must configure the Type of LNB device
in Configuration mode advanced and all necessary parameters, and also 1.2 diseqc to drive the v-box.

I don't have such an installation, this is just information in which direction the configuration should go.
Maybe someone has the same or similar installation and information.
Search on the forum and on the net Unicable setup depending on the LNB,
if you fail to configure it yourself.

Actually it seems, from many discussion I've read, that Unicable/SCR LNBs are not compatible to motors because they seem not to support DiSEqC 1.2 commands.
Is not clear, though, if it's possible to use Universal outputs only to use the motor in those Unicable LNBs which are also provided with some Universal out but surely it'd be a bit hectic.
After all, is not very logical to use a motor with a Unicable because you risk to interfere with your recordings if another one starts on a different satellite.
A mixed system made by two dishes, one with Universal LNB and a motor, and another one fixed and equipped by a Unicable/SCR would be ideal (apart, of course, for the two dishes needed).
