briefly,
Your flash and memory are overfilled.
you can not even get the system info.

I think also you download to much EPG data ???
Abt your problems with USB stick
prepare the USB stick as I already wrote before
with a small FAT partition on it.
(This is only for VU DUO usb stick problems)
And you will never have a problem.

But first begin again with a clean image...
Use orginal BH skins for BH 1.7.8

I have read it long time ago and always followed your advice :but this is not a case
usb in use 56%
hdd in use 76
Usb 1 partition 356mg fat32
usb second partition ext3 -624mg .For some point tested universe and my duo didn't like that either.

The flash memory are overfilled...> a fact < Duo users always face ( me too)

I solved my problem this way:-

1- Make a swap file on USB,,(a size of 32 or 64 mg more than enough).
2- Use a plug-in/script called > Force SWAP to reduce RAM VU+Duo.
(found @ linux_supprt_Addons).
3- Before making an EPG update, does not matter using BH_EPG settings or CrossEPG
Downloader, I use the script made by my good pal P2P
Free RAM >> http://www.vuplus-community.net/board/posts/56805/

Since then never had a crash due to "flash memory are overfilled"

Hello Friends,
After installing latest version for VuSolo 1.7.8 (and on Vu Duo also) i have only 1 problem, when i try to change iptv channels on list with left and right buttons on remote,
picture is stop for some time (10-20 sec. ) and then play again on same channel, if i change from the list with ok button then is switch to another channel without problem,
this problem is on new 1.7.8 version, previous version 1.7.7 is worked good, can you repair these in next version of firmware ?
I post these on Vu Solo thread but nobody answer to me.

Hi I'm currently flashing my VU Duo from 1.7.2 to 1.7.8
I think something went wrong cause it displays "Programming.."
for last half hour.
Is it safe to power it down and flash again, or could I brick my VU and it's better to wait longer just in case?

Only difference from my previous flashes id USB stick, I've used 32G this time instead of small one.

If no HW defect you can flash again.
