Thank you for BH 1.6.1. P.B! I just wanted to ask what is this plugin BHPersonalBackup_bh.tgz when we have it already in 1.6.1 BH? Is this a newer version BHPersonalBackup_bh.tgz and I have to install it in 1.6.1 BH?

It's the same version.
The bh.tgz package is needed only into BH images < 1.6.1 to make backup and restore into current and next BH images :)

Wow guys, this is a great new feature!!!!!!!!!! thanks so much!!!!!!!!

One quick question, I use quickmulti button and coolmanguide, will the P.B restore my settings for those pugins or just the plugins?

Cheers

Your settings will be restored.

I had to go into the /etc/openvpn folder and delete the default config files then restart the VPN so it would connect with my config. I also manually deleted the default ****. IIRC, by default there are around 5 files in the openvpn folder and around 8 in the **** folder. I use a single config file (vpn.conf) and 4 ****/certs.

It would be better if the PB restore cleared the /etc/openvpn folder before restoring the backed up files.
That is strange, i had no problem with openvpn personal files.
Before manually delete the files openvpn didn't start?

Wow, brilliant, so it's only CrossEPG settings not restored. Well that only takes about 5 seconds to setup :). But multiquickbutton and coolmanguide takes much longer so that's great news!!

Thanks!!!!!

Please help me to solve this matter.
What is wrong with CROSSEPG?

How much EPG providers you have enabled/included for download ?
Have you installed some plugins ?

To briefly explain abt the work of the EPG

When you download the EPG data it goes into box memory
If the memory is full, then to big EPG causes enigma
crash In this way protects enigma image stability.
The same applies in case if there are errors in the EPG file.

When you instal more additions/plugins in the image
then you have even less memory for the EPG.

Which means that you have to download only the most important EPG providers
but less is better because then the memory remains free
for others within the image.

Which means memory is not a bottomless pot
and it can not receive EPG in your case, over 20 MB EPG data
If I have seen good in your crash log.

=======================================================
Some other information for those who use only CrossEPG

Disable in BH Epg Settings (Blue>>red>>red button>> Enable OpenTv Epg Loader no
>Enable Epg Popup no

Why this ?
Then you will have from provider with bad openTV/stream EPG
good epg from CrossEPG.

========================================================

If you have unresolved issues with EPG
Then you can see some information in the log file
(in /media/usb(hdd)/crossepg)
for example when the server is not working.
Additionally you can manually delete all these files. If you have bigger problems
and make dawnload again.
========================================================

If you want to clean all EPG from memory and from example > USB
(If you have some EPG problems)
Then you have to do restart GUI/E2
and then quickly enter for example /media/usb/crossepg /
and delete epg.dat and afterward other files in crossepg folder.
Now you can again config and download EPG with CrossEPG
with clean memory and crossepg folder.
=============================================================
The most important thing in all this
Be a very selective when you put/install something in the image
do not use to much EPG data
Download EPG only if you need
It is good for the image and for the EPG servers.

Thanks a lot Matrix10
I have enabled 04 providers from CrossEPG, and the plugins installed are: Imdb, Project valerie and Subtitle player.
I think there is something wrong with EPG path, in my case when i clic blue + red + red bouton the EPG path shown is: /autofs/sda1//epg.dat, and the EPG downloaded from CrossEpg is stored in /media/hdd/crossepg (ext.epg.dat)
Is it normal?

What shows Black Hole Devices panel Blue>>Blue>>Devices Manager>>Red (mountpoints)
Is your HDD mounted /dev/sda1 /media/hdd
??????

If not and I think is not mounted you have to mount and save red button

Path for epg Example USB stick

in BH epg Panel Blue>>Red>>Red button /media/usb/crossepg/epg.dat
in BH Devices Manager Panel Blue>>Blue>>Devices Manager>>Red (mount points)
/dev/sda1(?) /media/usb
in CrossEPG Setup Menu>>CrossEPG>>configure>>USB Stick

For HDD is similar

OK
If you have checked all the configurations that I wrote
in this case is your problem
that on one side you have plugins that require lots of memory
on the other hand you had over 20 MB EPG data.

only I do not understand how you had with 4 providers over 20 MB EPG
I've tested to download all providers and it is about 25 to 30 MB.
Of course on the clean image
and it was possible but I had at the end an unstable image
and as a finale enigma crash.

If you have a couple of plugins you can not use more than 20 MB EPG
probably about 10 to 15 MB
especially not if you use bigger plugins that you use now.

HDD/USB is just a place to share EPG dat
between memory and crossepg
at the start and restart image
all epg go to memory and back to the HDD or USB
if you make restart or Shutdown.

I think you have to test the P.B. plugin before to suggest any improvement...
