Caution! Vu+ Clone

Since these boxes are sold by Media Markt, I think they are original Vu+.
In Austria Media Markt sells the Solo and Ultimo too.

I've made a mistake!

Hey , I tried to install it on my vu solo that has the version 6.0 , nothin , gives me the black screen , I used the bootloader before also , nothin
the same case for the official image , but when I flash with previous versions , they work well .
any suggestions :s ?

Yes. Contact the "seller" of your box and get your money back: can be a clone box. No support here.

Then,,there is something wrong with image files you are downloading,,,my be corrupted!
Check/download new one again and unzip files direct into erase formatted USB!

Ok if it's original box, update your CFE for Solo and flash any image you want

I think photos on the first page of this thread are sufficient to detect if you have a clone or not.

NONO that`s not mine, i found it while searching vu+ solo images at google.
i think it was on a thread on a Turkish forum.

i will post photoes of my box when it comes to my hands. i`m waiting for delivery.

EDIT: are the pics on this post genuine? i think they are. (found them while search too)

Ok now it's more clear.
If you see photos on first page on this thread you can see that these new photos are from a genuine box.

I don't understand what are you doing.
In the first post there are genuine photos taken from Vu+ official website that must be used as a reference.
Every box with different components/cable/other are clones.
End of story.

just look at official images by vu+ solo website and then look at images in here: http://vuplus-community.net/board/threads/review-of-vu-solo-by-stardust.1305/
i have found different points and showed them to you. (by red circles on previous post) just it.

i'm sure your box is genuine, BUT there is still a question.
why it has difference as i showed you on the pics.
two genuine boxes, one in this thread second one in review, BUT with some difference on internal photoes!!!

Old pictures of genuine and if your model just came out of factory i'm sure there would be some tiny improvements made in a few years. For example psu. You would soon know a clone they aren't the same build quality or parts and they would have an extra chip on the side.

From what I can see in the pictures the stardust box main board is dated 29/9/2010 so his would be the older board. As I stated the factory that makes them will receive updated components from their sources when putting the boxes together as in the technology industry nothing stays the exact same for long.
