I know that there is major problem with many CI CAM's.
Is it hardware problem or software one?
Will the problem be solved?

I am from Poland there are problems with Cyfrowy Polsat CAM and some of them:

Soon there will be new "Telewizja na karte HD CAM". First test showed that is also doesn't work with VU

So as you see. There are major problems in Poland with CAMs proper working on VU+Duo. Please solve the problem.

Dear Sirs,
As representatives of a number of Vu+ Duo users gathered at dvhk.pl sat forum in Poland, we would like to draw your attention to escalating problem of CAM modules failing to operate in your tuner. The ones especially important to Polish viewers are: Polsat Cyfrowy and TNK HD. Buying equipment of 400 euro worth we did expect CI functionality to be fully operational which unfortunatelly is not a case. We would greatly appreciate if you colud present your position on this and prsent anticipated fix time.
Looking for prompt reply.

I have problem with CI slot when reboot VU+DUO.
CI still init.
When I get out it and put it again work ok....

My problem is same.
My CI Modul is D-Smart NDS (Turkey).

Please, because problem important.

Yes i think is very inportetend becouse now no work CI Modul from 5 country with 2 polish platform is thsi some problem frezzez or no init.
I think developer driver mast make work on this !!

I think this problem new driver no BH image becouse very similar situation is on other image CO module work in 95% other problem im write in BH topic.

I test some images.....Still same.I flash Original 5.5 image and there work ok...Seems problem is at system plugin VideoMode.When I install it on original image 5.5 I get status init CI like on all alternative images....

You can try to remove the problematic plugin from the 3rd-party image and retry the use of CI module.
You can remove plugins from Software Manager.
