Nanostick not tuning

HI all. has anyone got the NanoStick T2 to actually produce a picture on the tv with the Ultimo. The tuner config recognises it ok, but when I scan no channels are found. I know I have a good signal as I can see our local transmiter from my location and all other T2 decoders in the home work fine. Am I missing something in the setup or what. Any advice would be much appreciated.

Did you set correct zone before scanning? As I remember, default is Australia DVB-T frequencies.

I have a slightly memory that I have read on another forum for another image, that it's some kind of shortcoming, either DVB-T inside or outside as in USB not both at the same time.
maybe worth to try ?
Perhaps you can find it with g**gle.

Hi all. Thanks for your replys. Have set all options correct, but still no picture. when tuning get no channels found message. I fitted the hybrid VU tuner and over 100 channels were found (but this is not HD capable). Removed hybrid tuner and installed USB but again no channels found. Usb works fine on PC so is not faulty.
Am now getting fed up, As I had the same sort of problems when trying to install the DVD burner (which I have give up on as no one seems to have actually got it to work with BlackHole).
PLEASE if you have got the NanaSick T2 to actually work on the Ultimo post a reply, so unlike the DVD burner I do not waste a lot of time trying the impoosible

Nanostick: Do what's written here http://www.vuplus-community.net/board/threads/usb-tuner-howto-report-problems.621/ and post an output file.
DVD Burner: I'll try this evening on Solo2 (Samsung slim USB on externally powered hub, DVDplayer is working).

Please don't write off-topics. If you have problems with plugins, open one or more threads in the Plugins sections.

About your DVB-T2 290e stick, I've tried the mine on Solo2 and I must shutdown the box, then powered on it to start using the DVB USB tuner and a box reboot was not sufficient.
How many USB devices do you have connected to the box?

Also, you MUST follow Paolino's posted link: without infos it's impossible to help you.

Hi. I need some advice on Telnet (phew). Can connect ok,but when I type letter for letter Paolinos instructions including the > and > > I get the response file not found or unable to create.
Still using Putty as I cannot find VUCC to download without having to subscribe to various sites or simular, and I already get enough junk mail without asking for more.
Many thanks for your patience and responses.

Hi. I am still trying. Have just installed the latest BH version to see if that helps. Dont get a lot of time to play at the moment due to working away from home. Still dont understand the Telnet though. What do the > and >> signs mean in the instructions. I think I am missing something here.

">" means "next click/press/select" Don't worry, try when you'll get more time :).

Hi all. Took the plunge and bought a Duo2. All set up and working fine...... Until I tried to install the nanoStickT2. All seemed fine, it was recognised by the system etc, but when I tried to do a manual scan of european T frequencies I got the message ERROR Cannot start scan. Also from then on trying to do any type of blindscan on any tuner input caused a crash, when I tried to selected BlindScan from the plugins.
After I restored plugins from my Backup Blindscan now works.
Thanks Regards bouncerdove

1) No locall BBC 1 found when scanning.
2) EPG letters are just a mixture and symbals, Times are correct though
3) Blind scan plugin crashes stb when selected from the menu (ok if Nano stick is unplugged)

Hello again. I have had a bit of time to play and after deleteing and rescaning individual transponders all channels are found ok. Also the only channels that the epg letters dont show correct are all HD channels.
STB still crashes if I try to use the Blindscan plugin.
Audio volume is a lot lower than any of the dvbs channels.
Many thanks
