no picture on vu+uno

ve got my friends vu+uno box showing good signal but no picture
ive config tuner
set up as
config mode = simple
mode = single
satellite = satname ie 28.2e
send DiSCEqC = no

when i do service scan it gos like scan in progress- 100%done 0 service fond! so then i put Catseye E2 Settings File when i go to channels showing good signal but no picture
but can not seem to decode them. Error on screen is "no data on transponder timeout reading pat" he has tried to re-flash the bux but still the same problem any help/info would be greatly appreciate

Check carefully tuner plug and satellite cables.

ok ive tryed the new tuner but samething good signal but no picture so its nothing wrong with tuner bcoz same tuner work fine in VU+ Ultimo i dont know what to do help/info would be greatly appreciate

I suffer the same problem with my Vu Ultimo.

Perfect SNR and AGC, but no pics!

Strangely with my problem, it worked fine for 6 months... then started dropping channels!
Only on a certain Sat. I have re-flashed many time, tried different images (OpenPli etc)
I have tried a Vu Duo i have, same problem...

Scans.... Great sig... No pics!

Now... the strange part, when i connect my old DM800 (BH 1.7.4), everything works!! All channels show pics!

So... Cables, Dish and LNB are OK.

Provider box also works...

But the Vu Ultimo and Duo just show no pics (using BH or any other image)???

I have been told by another person that suffered the same problem, copy the Channel List from the DM800 and put in Vu Ultimo.
This worked for him... so far i have not had success doing this.

I remember with the DM800, some people fixed tuner faults by unplugging the tuner and plugging it back in again.
I have not tried this.

It strange that everything works fine with DM800 and Provider box.... not so good with the Vu's.

Sometimes, after disconnecting and reconnect the LNB cable, i will get some channels back..... Then other times, disconnecting and reconnecting the LNB cable makes it worse!!!!

The channels that fail to show pics also fail to show EPG sometimes too!!!

Very strange.

I really hope other people have come across this issue?
