I need some advice...
I have a friends VU Uno that keeps "thinking" after i start it up/reboot/reflash as soon as the tuner should go to work.
It started after he brought it for an update, (well needed after 2 years) of the Blackhole image.
Update went fine, but after that it didn't want to scan during the setup menu.
It seems tuner related, since i have 0 reception, and it goes hanging as soon as i want to use the tuner.
It doesnt want to scan for satellites, or even check reception for the lnb's.
As soon as i want to use either menu it hangs, after countless tries it once got to scanning 1%.
Than it started hanging again.
If i do nothing at all it goes hanging after a minute or so.
i tried the following:
Rebooting, reflashing (vu, pli and blackhole), i even tried the driver update just to be sure.
On all images the same problem.
I opened the box, cleaned it, detached and reattached the tuner.
To save time, i just spend over 10 hours on this:
Cables etc are ok, my box runs ok on those.
Flashing goes ok, no problems.
No HDD, no USB stick in it for multiverses
4 LNB's set up.
No error on the screen, just the damn thinking thingy that keeps bugging me!
Hope some one can help, i am fresh out of ideas!
