Ultimo VU+ Ultimo 4K remote controls Duo2 box at same time

I have both an Ultimo 4K and a Duo 2 in the same room. The universal remote that comes with the Ultimo, I have also bought a second of those separately to control my Duo 2 which I've had for years.

How do I change the frequency of each remote so it can ONLY control it's own box?

The Ultimo manual doesn't help. It says this:

Mode 1: Solo, Duo
Mode 2: Uno, Duo2
Mode 3 & 4: Reserved for future models

The only mode that works is Mode 2 and the remote still controls both boxes at the same time.

I've never tried a mode different from 2 with my two boxes (Duo2 and Solo4K): so, you are saying that, choosing mode 1, is not possible to control neither a Duo2 nor an Ultimo4K? If so, it's a problem.
But, actually, having two boxes in the same room is, I suppose you may understand, quite a odd situation: they are designed mainly to watch TV (although, of course, they are also sort of media players) and two boxes in the same room s quite inexplicable!
