thanks for the help nunigaia, I think this is more advanced than what im looking for though, I was told i could easily access my solo2 HDD from my vu zero. This is all i want to do. Is this possible?

HI guys
I'm new to this so please be gentle. I have skybox f5 now and thinking of going to vu + zero. Have enough of scrambled. I would like to know if it's easy to brick this box, stuck on load and things like that? I had this many times with f5 but I learnd to fix it. Is it also easy fix with zero product, will I be able to do it myself in case od problems or will need service? And second question this box will be for watching HD TV from Poland. Now provider changing the way of broadcasting from DVB-S MPEG-2 to DVB-S2 MPEG-4. Will I be able to watch them with no freezez ?

Zero has legally a license for XCrypt CAS (the internal slot) so explain me how to see your Poland sub that not uses that CA system.

Anyone knows if the VU+ Duo2 with Open Blackhole image v0.1 can share realtime channels to a zero with same Open Blackhole image v0.1?
To play movies stores on monted hdd from Duo2 is no problem.I would like to play favourite bouquet channels live.
Do I need to do any specific? I find no Server tuner or Client Tuner inside Open Blackhole v0.1 image.
Do I need to restore and install BH 2.1.6.1 to get this to work...as I have never tried it...?

You can do it without problems.
You must install into Zero the plugin Remote Stream Converter. Tested directly.

The Zero box as original has already that plugin. When trying to channlesearch in the bottom this choice is already there. Remote stream converter. And there I can typee in serverip thats the vu+ duo2 machine it also find the lists but when added. They are empty.

I saw the DLNA and share with MediaTomb but......this is described on other forums and youtube etc that,
the Zero can find any VU+ box in your lan and get the channels from them without installing BH into the Zero box.
I find the VU+ duo2 bos and my favorite lists... but they are empty even I choose download in the Zero menu.
Someone have had tried the new way to make this working.
It would be super duper if someone that haev tried this lately...and not fro 3 years ago to get this going without DLNA
I tried DLNA and reached the HDD on VU+ Duo2 and played recorded data, yes that work beatiful.
But my Zero boxes in the rooms need to share the free sat tuners in realtime frm VU+ Duo2.
Perhaps you are right that I need to install
1. Remote Stream Converter after installing 2.1.6.1 or?
2. Then perhaps I need to make a m3u file for each channel manually.. no I do not think so...eheh..
Please give me the full explanation in detail step by step...from a person that haev done this.

Hi again Angelofsky. I need to get that plugin...but also need to know if I can use the plugin on BH 2.1.6.1 on zero.
Give me a link to a working Remote stream converter for that build please.

I haven't a link for that.
Into BH image series is included by default.
Into OBH image series you need to download it directly from image menus (Green - install plugin)

I reinstalled BH and there it is activated and done at startup. Fine I thought..
I did go into the plugin through the Cahnnels search menu and choose the ip on my Server box.
I got up the list after 1-2minutes...after it was done. so have to take it easy.
After that I see all channels. wow....now I crossed my fingers hard to hope for everything working.
But the channels was there but only black.. after a while I tried many channels and out of 50 I can only see 2
Perhaps they a FTA channels no idea.
So...over to you now. Do I need to install a CAM or need to make anything else to get this to work?

a card inside the zero box...why do I only see 2 channels of all channels from VU+ Duo2 has hundred working channels.
Have I missed anything. Please give me tip to check whatz wrong.
