I tested some streaming protocols and found out that there is support for FLV, RTMP, RTSP and basic HLS/DASH.
My wish is that the Enigma player also supports SRT (libsrt missing in distro), LL-HLS/DASH (low latency versions of HLS and DASH) and WHEP playback (realtime WebRTC). All the needed modules are available in current FFMPEG/GStreamer sources, so why not compile them into the distro. SRT is a MPEGTS protocol, which has a native error correction for packet loss and gets more and more popular for streaming providers like me.
Nice to have would also be AV1 video codec support. The software decoding works on newer boxes very good, due to optimized code.
