Would be great if would work.
Plugins are written in python from what I've read and XBMC is written in c++, again from what I've read.
I'm no programmer, more of a tamperer lol, but don't know how well that will port over(is that right word)
If I could get project Valerie working I'd be happy enough!

Compatibility aside, surely the new breed of stbs like the VU+ solo2 should be able to process xbmc if something like the raspberry pi can ?

True, but would need someone with the skills to make it work to feel the urge to create it. There is a new xbmc based vu+ box coming out, ain't looked in to the spec but shows that someone has thought it would be good.

Give it time and hopefully project Valerie will do the job.

Personally gona get my 'old' rasp pi working with xbmc again, though it doesn't run interface as well as on pc.
