Hi,
i've got my first Vu+ today, SoloSE. I've got one question before trying xmbc; the usb pen mounted as HDD has to be in only on the first run of XMBC or everytime i use it? Thanks

Allways must be connected to your STB!

Keep it in as it is where it stores everything that is needed for XBMC to work, it is being used in place of having a hard drive. If you had a box with an internal hard drive then the files would be saved on the internal drive but that is not available on the SoloSE.

Thank you. Let it it and worked without filling up the flash memory. Now i've got to find some working addons.. I've got one working on the pc, it let me install it but then video doesn't start

You can use a USB storage device mounted on /media/hdd or a network share mounted in place of HDD or use an eSATA disk drive.
