I've only got a 1tb too bud. Plenty for me. Depends on if he wants to use as a media server or likes loads of filmsWell it defo needs a 3.5" hdd, I have a western digital and have problems with it, surely a 1tb would be more than enough for you.....in my opinion
As i am fairly new to linux your replies have been very helpful as i am on a steep learning curve. Readiing between the lines i think 1tb will be more than enough for my usage.
Just ordered toshiba 1tb internal hdd sata 3gb/s 5400rpm 8 mb 2.5" 9.5mm . Price £49.98 +£4.98 24hr delivery . Went for 1tb as price seemed not too bad.
Will be in touch when delivered.
