im using web interface, dream set, dreambox edit, ftp and so on, and don't want every time to check solo2 ip address ...
and yes i tried DHCP and its the same story for me

I understand what you are saying but in your router, you can assign a permanent address to your Solo2. However enabling DHCP didn't sort out your problem anyway, so what's the point..

Have you got image from this forum or is it some kind of someone's backup?

) and it was fresh and clean install. Never using somebody's backup.i tried use gateway IP address instead of ISP dns', but when applying its coming back to ISP dns.

I have installed BH2.0.1 in my Solo2 but some subtitles of channels in HD are cut in down (when two lines have only one appears). One provider of tv in Brazil have this problem, but only OpenPLI have one option in your menu for fixe position of subtitle.
Is there any way to change something like an XML or other configuration item and resolve problems with subtitles?

try, but use flashlight and look for rotation...
when fan not work (after standby, turn off in standby-off) skin *hdglass" show that work ok (1549rpm) but physically not work.

I do not need skin to hear when my fan working or not working i can also put it at a higher speed.
Then I hear from three meters.

We do not provide support for those who use these skins
which changes the structure of the image,with its own python files..
So you never know what is causing the problem.
default i use BH default skin, and now i test..set max pwm, and set off-turn off fan in standby, and when i go to standby fan is stoped, when box wakup fan still not work....
i also delete hdglass skin
you had to modified skin selector and nobody knows what else to use hdglass skin. Please use fresh clean BH image and check it again.

I really have no idea,If you have installed agn clean image.
Hopefully it's not HW problem.
Try an older image and try the original image.
